Ta Ling was the first eletrical contact manufacturer in Taiwan.

In 1963, the electrical industry in Taiwan started to develop. All contacts were still being imported at that time. GTS Electrical Contact Research Company was then established in order to develop this product.

A.D.1969

Suzuki Contact Point Ind. Co., Ltd in Japan transferred their technology to GTS. This was a milestone in the production of electrical contacts in Taiwan.

A.D.1973

Suzuki Co., Ltd. provided Ta Ling the highly efficient welding system which elevated our welding productivity. This was very helpful to the telecommunication manufacturing industry in Taiwan.

A.D.1976

Ta Ling Precious Metals Industry Co., Ltd. was formed. To further strengthen quality control, semi-automatic welding systems were imported.

A.D.1980

Ta Ling was relocated to cope with the growth of orders and the limited space already crowded with machinery. A full range of inspection facilities were purchased to ensure quality.

A.D.1982

Ta Ling expanded its capital and factory capacity again. Productivity was greatly elevated to support the electrical, electronic, telecommunication, and switch industries, both local and abroad.

A.D.1988

Newly delevoped machinery and techniques from W. Germany were adopted fo further improve our productivity. These most contemparory precision welding/stamping systems enabled us to produce the best quality products by using smaller amounts of precious metals. Our customers thus became more competitive in the European market.

A.D.1990

Ta Ling developed the unique one-step producction technique which saves time and cost and was welcomed by the market. This new technique firmly joins the wires or rivet contacts to the base metal.

A.D.1995

New high-speed welding & Stamping systems were imported from Germany once again to set up factory #2. Ta Ling established it's sales office in Auckland to cover the possibility of setting up it's production line New Zealand.
